Officials of the Louisiana Tech University, Louisiana, USA were in ABUAD with a view to entering into a working collaboration.  Present at the jaw-jaw were the indefatigable octogenarian, legal luminary and Founder of ABUAD, President Emeritus Aare Afe Babalola (SAN); the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sidi Osho; the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor M. O. Ajisafe; Professor I. O. Orubuloye, other Management staff and Provosts of all the Colleges.  Leading the team of Lousiana Tech University was Dr Daniel Erickson, who was accompanied by three others – Jonah Ukpai, Alfred Ukpai and Jerome Udoh.

Louisiana Tech University is about 120 years old and, historically, their best students are always Nigerians.
