LATE RESUMPTION OF STUDENTS/DAMAGES
At the Management meeting held on 15th September, 2016, it was observed with great worry the regular failure of students to resume after the holiday. In its desire to stop this irresponsible behavior of
students, it has been decided that students who fail to resume on the date stated for resumption will henceforth be sanctioned.
Consequently, from 2016/2017 session any student who fails to arrive on campus within the first week of resumption would be penalized as follows:
- Late arrival after one week of resumption would pay N5,000.00
- Late arrival after two weeks of resumption would pay N10,000.00
- Late arrival after three weeks of resumption would pay N20,000.00
- Thereafter the student's studentship will be terminated.
However, parents who have genuine reasons for violating the rules would be required to personally come with their children to convince the management why the student's studentship should not be terminated.
Note: Delay in the payment of school fees would not be accepted as an excuse for late arrival since the university has provision for parents to agree with the bursary on a payment plan where the parent finds it difficult to pay once. This is not applicable to Medicine (MBBS) and Law Programmes.
DAMAGES TO HALLS OF RESIDENCE
Parents/Sponsors/Students are to note that damages fee will be collected from those that destroyed their Hall of Residence last session before being allowed to school. This is not damages for the February 7th, 2016 Rampage, the Founder has paid for that already but those students that intentionally destroyed the facilities at their last halls of residence. The innocent ones who did not destroy their facilities will not pay a dime. Please take note.
Thank you.
