1. Nursing Officer – Category A

Specialisation

• Cardiac (Cardiovascular) Operating Room Nursing       - 3 Slots

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Conduct and document a thorough assessment of a patient’s medical status upon admission and throughout the patient’s course of treatment
   1. Assist in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned patient
   1. Assess, plan and evaluate the nursing care of the patient before, during and after a surgical procedure
   1. Participate in the care of patients receiving sedation and assist physician during procedures
   1. Administer prescribed medications, apply dressings and monitor vital signs during procedures
   1. Ensure that sterile procedures are followed throughout the course of surgery, necessary equipment and medications are available for the operating room team, record progress and outcomes of surgical procedures and ensure proper handling of specimens
   1. Provide quality control and ensure patient safety at all times

Requirements

1. Applicants must hold the Bachelor’s of Nursing Science degree
2. Be duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, holds an active RN license and have a current practising licence
3. Holds a BLS Certification, ACLS and/or PALS Certification and the CNOR Certification for perioperative nurses from a Competency & Credentialing Institute
4. Minimum of 1-2 years professional nursing experience, operating room experience preferred
5. International working experience shall be an added advantage
6. Visa sponsorship available

1. Nursing Officer – Category B

Specialisation

• Intensive Care Nursing                    - 6 Slots

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
   1. Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs in order to provide the best possible care.
   1. Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
   1. Collaborate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
   1. Observe, record and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
   1. Administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to doctor’s instructions.
   1. Provide quality control and ensure patient safety at all times

Requirements

1. Applicants must hold the RN or Bachelor’s of Nursing Science degree
2. Be duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, and have a current practising licence
3. Possession of post basic qualification in Intesive Care Nursing from a Competency & Credentialing Institute
4. BLS certification required. ACLS and/or PALS Certification shall be added advantage
5. Minimum of 1-2 years professional nursing experience, operating room experience preferred
6. International working experience shall also be an added advantage.

Requirements

1. Applicants must hold the RN or Bachelor’s of Nursing Science degree
2. Possession of post basic qualification in Paediatrics, Psychiatrics, Nephrology, Accident & Emergency or Perioperative Nursing, Anaesthesia, Ophthalmology, ENT Nurisng or Burns and Plastic Nursing shall be required as applicable
3. Be duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, and have a current practising licence
4. Proven experience as a registered nurse.
5. Excellent knowledge of nursing care
6. Good interpersonal relationship skills.

Requirements

• Part II Fellowship Examination of West African College of Surgeons & Physician as well as National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalents in the specified specialties.
• Current practicing license of the Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria; and
• National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) discharge certificate.
• Being five years post Part II Fellowship in Radiology shall be an added advantage

• Evidence of registration with MDCN / Current practising licence

• Evidence of Primary Fellowship Examination from either the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or the West African College of Physicians (WACP) in Family Medicine

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or its equivalent
• Registration with the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria with valid practicing license.

• Biomedical Engineer

• BSc Biomedical Engineering/Medical Electronics/Clinical Engineering or Equivalent and at least ONE (1) year internship or national service in a recognized hospital
