ABUAD TOPS MEDAL TABLE AT THE SECOND EKITI STATE HIGHER INSTITUTION GAMES (ESHIGA)
This is to inform the management of our great institution that the high flying ABUAD athletes have done it again by emerging the best institution at the second edition of Ekiti State Higher Institution Games (ESHIGA). Our university topped the medal table with 104 athletes who competed in seven games (chess, football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, table tennis and athletics) in male and female categories and harvested 50 medals. Other institutions who came behind ABUAD are Ekiti State University, Federal Polytechnic Oye, Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti and Ekiti State College of Health Science and Technology.
This feat is a clear reflection of the wealth of sporting talents bestowed on ABUAD students by God, nurtured by season sports coaches and supported by ultra-modern sport facilities available for athlete training and development. Truly, we lead and others follow. Long live ABUAD.
