Commonwealth Scholarships now open for applications

Dear ABUAD Staff and Alumni,

Applications are now open for 17 Commonwealth Scholarships at ACU member institutions in Bangladesh, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Pakistan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, and at the University of the West Indies.

These Commonwealth Scholarships enable successful applicants to benefit from the expertise available at universities in low and middle income countries around the world. They are funded primarily by the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan endowment fund.

The scholarships give talented students – who can be from any Commonwealth country other than the host country – the opportunity to gain a Master's degree while developing new skills and experiencing life in another country. A wide range of subject areas are available and the scholarships are fully funded, including tuition fees, a return economy flight, an arrival allowance, and a regular stipend.

Applications from students and graduates of ACU member universities are warmly encouraged. To find out more and to apply, please visit the ACU website. The closing date for applications is 10 March 2017.
